YARN= “Poema Big†by “Laines du Nord“: Color 236:2 (2,3 ) balls
CIRCULAR NEEDLES = 5 and 5.5 mm( cables 100 cm and 60 cm for sleeves)
OTHER = stitch markers, tapestry needle.
This project is worked in rounds from the bottom up in one piece until the underarm. The upper part is worked back and forth in two separate pieces, front and back.
Stocking stitch;
1/1 rib st: *K1, P1 * rep ** to the end; Next Round: work sts as they appear.

Procedure
Body
Cast on150 (164, 178) 1 st with needles5 mm.Insert the marker to mark beginning of row, SMb, and start to work in the round ensuring that the work is not twisted (to join in the round: Ktog the first and the last cast-on stitch).
Rounds 1 - 18 : * K1, P1 * rep ** to the end.
Change to needles 5.5 mm
Work in stocking st. (K all rounds) until the piece measures 25 (26, 27) cm.
Front [75 (82, 89) sts]
Now divide the work in two parts and work back and forth only on the first half of stitches.

Row 1 (RS): cast off 4 (6, 6) sts, K to the end, turn.
Row 2 (WS):cast off 4 (6, 6) sts, P to end. [67 (70, 77 ) sts]
Row 3 (RS): K2, SKP, K to 4 sts before end, K2tog, K2; turn.
Row 4 (WS): P
Repeat Rows 3 and 4 another 5 ( 5, 6) times.[ 55 (58, 63) sts]
Work 24( 26, 28) rows in stocking st (RS = K, WS= P)
Neckline
Work only the first 20 (21, 23) stson needles for shaping the neckline and leave on hold the other sts: the 15 ( 16, 17)central neck sts and the last 20 (21, 23)sts on needles that you'll work later.
First side
Row 1(RS): K16, K2tog, K2, turn.
Row 2 (WS): P
Row 3 (RS): Kto 4 sts before end, K2tog, K2.
Row 4 (WS): P
Repeat Rows 3 and 4 another 2 (2, 3) times. [16 (17,18 ) sts]
Work 10(12, 14) rows in stocking st (RS = K, WS= P)
Leave on hold these sts and work the last 20 (21, 23) sts on needles to make the other shoulder.
Second side
Work only the last 20 (21, 23)sts on needle starting on the RS
Row 1 (RS): K2, SKP, K to end.
Row 2 (WS): P
Row 3 (RS): K2, SKP, K to the end.
Row 4 (WS): P
Repeat Rows 3 and 4 another 2 (2, 3) times. [16 (17,18 ) sts]
Work 10 (12, 14) rows in stocking st (RS = K, WS= P)
Leave on hold these sts and work the Back.
Back [ 75 (82, 89) sts ]
Work back and forth the other half of stitches. [75 (82, 89) sts]
Row 1 (RS):cast off 4 (6, 6) sts, K to the end, turn.
Row 2 (WS):cast off 4 (6, 6) sts, P to the end [67 (70, 77 ) sts]
Row 3 (RS): K2, SKP, K to 4 sts before end, K2tog, K2; turn.
Row 4 (WS): P.
Repeat Rows 3 and 4 another 5 ( 5, 6) times.[ 55 (58, 63) sts]
Work 42 (46, 50) rows in stocking st (RS = K, WS= P)
Leave sts on hold.
SHOULDER
Sew with the Kitchener Stitch the 16 (17,18 ) stitches for each shoulder, joining the front at the back.
Leave the central 15 ( 16, 17) sts on hold for the neck
SLEEVES (X2)
Work in round
With 5 mm needles and the shorter cable pick up and knit 120 ( 124, 128 ) stitches along the armhole. Place SM at the underarm and start working in the round as follows:
Rounds 1- 6: * K1, P1 * rep ** to the end.
Cast off all sts.
Do the same for the other side.
Neck
Slip the 23 ( 24,27)held stitches of the back to 5 mm needles; pick up 22 (24, 26) sts along the left neckline. Now slip the15 ( 16, 17) held stitches of the front to the needles; pick up22 (24, 26) sts along right neckline. Place SMb and work in the round. [82 (88, 96)sts]
Rounds 1 - 8: * K1, P1 * rep ** to the end.
Cast off all sts
Weave in all ends. Wash and block garment carefully.
