Procedure
FRONT
With needle 3.5 mm, cast on 117 sts and work 16rows in 2/1 rib st.
Change to needles 4 mm.
Rows 1 - 12: work in reverse stocking st
Row 13 (RS):P1, P2tog(1a decrease), P to 3 sts before end, SKP in purl (2a decrease), P1
Continue in reverse stocking st and on rows 19, 25, 31 e 37, decrease as in Row 13
Rows 38 - ‘80:work in stocking sr on 107 remained sts
Work in lace st., remember to work 1 selvage st. at the beginning of every odd row (RS) and work 2 sts in reverse stocking st on both side of the lace st untile the end of the panel.
Row 81: decrease 8 sts evenly. Work 1 selvage st., P2 ., work the 1 row in lace st to 2 sts before end, P2 [99 sts]
Rows 82 - 84: rep from row 2 to 4 of the lace st.
Row 85: work in lace st as set up, and cast off the first and the last 4 sts on both side for the armholes.
Continue in lace st and decrease 1 st after the first st and before the last one on rows: 87, 89, 91, 93, 95, 97, 99, 101, 103, 105, 107, 109. At the end of row 109 you have 75 sts on needle.
Row 111: work and cast off the 15 central sts for the neckline.

Work in lace st decrease on odd rows (RS) as indicated.

SLEEVE
With needle 3.5 mm, cast on 54 sts andwork 19 rows in 2/1 rib st.
Change to needles 4 mmand Purl 1 row on WS, increasing 20 sts evenly.
Rows 1 - 68 :work in lace st on 74 sts.
Row 69:cast offthe 18 central sts and work separately the 2 sides

Firstside
Work in lace st decrease on odd rows (RS) as indicated.
Row 71:cast off 3 sts on the casted-off side to create the curved edge of the central opening.[25 sts]
Row 73:cast off 2 sts on central opening side [23 sts]
Row 75: cast off 2 sts on central opening side [21 sts]
Row 77: cast off 1 st on central opening sideand 3 sts for the armhole on the opposite side [17 sts]
Row 79: cast off 1 st on central opening sideand 1 st for the armhole [15 sts]
Row 81:like row 79 [13 sts]
Row 83:like row 79 [11 sts]
Row 85:cast off 2 sts on entral opening side and 1 st for the armhole [8 sts]
Row 87:like Row 85 f. [5 sts]
Row 89:cast offthe remained st,inserting 1 st. on the side of the armhole.
Second side
Work as for the First side, making the decreases symmetrically.
Make the second st.
FINISHING
Edges of the central opening of the sleeves (x 2):with needles 3 mm and contrasting yarn, cast on 140 sts and K 1 row. Change to Soft Lino yarn and Purl 1 row, work 4 rows in tubular st then work 8 rows in 1/1 rib st, end with 3 rows in tubular st. Cast off sts with the tapestry needle.
Neckline edge: with the same method as the edges of the central opening, make an edge of 200 sts.
On WS, sew edges around the center opening of each sleeve and around the neckline (photo).Sew the ends of the neckline together at the center back. Sew side and underarm.
Weave in all ends.
