Work the shawl top-down using the circular needles and only one ball.
If you work tightly, we recommend using one or half size more than the indicated needles size; If you work loosely, we recommend using one or half size less than the indicated needles size. The most important thing is that the shawl must be soft!

Cast-on 4 sts. and purl. (WS); do not count this first r.
1st r. (RS): k1, yo (PM), k2 (these 2 sts. stay in the centre of the shawl), yo (PM), k1 [6 sts.]
2nd r. (WS): purl all sts., move the Ms into the 2 corresponding sts.
Move the Ms into each next r., to mark the 2 central sts.
3rd r.: k2, yo, k2 (= centre), yo, k2 [8 sts.]
4th r.: purl all sts.
5th r.: k3, yo, k2 (= centre), yo, k3 [10 sts.]
6th r.: purl all sts.
7th r.: k4, yo, k2 (= centre), yo, k4 [12 sts.]
8th r.: p4, knit the yo, p2 (= centre), knit the yo, p4
9th r. (RS): k4, PM, yo, k1, yo, k2 (= centre), yo, k1, yo, PM, k4
10th r. (WS): p4, k3, p2, k3, p4 (move the Ms into the corresponding sts. of each next r.).

Before working, you must have the same number of sts. (even) on both sides of the shawl. If necessary, on RS, make one decrease (k2tog) or one increase (2 sts. into the same base st.).
