Using size 5 needles, cast-on 58 sts. (2 selvages included) and, for band shaping work 20 r. rib 2/2 (= 10 cm). Cont. in stocking st. and, for armholes shaping, at 79th r. (= 36 cm tot. heigh approx.), on both edges, decr.1 st. (2 sts. from each edge) every 2 r. 3 times (there are 52 sts.). Cont. working these sts. and at 123rd r. (19 cm from beg. of armholes and 55 cm tot. heigh approx.) bind off all sts.

FRONT

Work as giving for back and, at the same time, for neckline shaping, at 91th r. (40 cm tot. heigh approx.) bind off central 10 sts. and cont. working two pieces separately then, on both sides of neckline, decr. 1 st. (2 sts. from each edge) every 4 r. 5 times. At 123rd f., bind off rem. 16 sts. for shoulders.

SLEEVE (x 2)

Using size 5 mm knitting needles, cast-on 34 sts. (2 selvages included) and, for band shaping, work 20 r. rib 2/2 (=10 cm). Cont. in stocking st., incr. on both sides, 1 st. every 12 r. 6 times (=46 sts.). For armholes shaping, at 99th r. (48 cm tot. heigh approx.), on both edges, decr. 1 st. (2 sts. from each edge) every 2 r. 3 times, then bind off 40 rem. sts.

FINISHING

Sew on WS.

Sew the shoulder seams.

Collar

Using size 4 circular needles, pick-up 80 sts. around neckline (front and back), close in round, then work 6 r. rib 2/2 and 4 f. in tubular st., at last bind off all sts. using darning needle.

Sew side seams. Sew undersleeves, sew the sleeve heads inside the armholes.

Hide the ends on WS.
