INTERCHANGEABLE CIRCULAR NEEDLES: size 6- and 8-mm points, 80 cm cable.
SHORT POINTS CIRCULAR NEEDLES = size 6- and 8-mm points, 40 cm cable.
OTHERS = waste yarn, stitch wires with caps, stitch marker, darning needle, scissors, tape measure
Work the sweater top down. Use the tubular technique for collar cast-on, sleeves and body bind off. Work the sleeves around the armholes.
The instructions below refer to sizes S (M-L), so number before the brackets refers to size S, while numbers into the brackets refer to size M and L.
Tubular stitch. Rib 2/2 in round. Rib 4/4. Stocking stitch in round.
German short rows
1st r.: slip 1st st. k-wise with yo (double stitch), knit as far as indicated.
2nd r.: slip 1st st. p-wise with yo (double stitch), purl as far as indicated.
Across next rows, work the double stitch like a single stitch.
Bind off tubular stitch using darning needle

Using waste yarn and size 6 mm points with 40 cm cable, cast-on 92 (100-108) sts. and close in round, making sure the stitches facing the same direction. Place one SMb.
Using pink color work 2 rounds in tubular st.:
1st round: (k1, slip 1 p-wise) rep. until the end of round.
2nd round: (slip 1 k-wise, p1) rep. until the end of round.
3rd round: * k1, hang next st. in back, k1, purl the st. you have hung, p1 *, rep. from * to * until the end of round.
Cont. working 30 rounds rib 2/2.
YOKE
Using size 8 mm points and 80 cm cable, knit 1 round placing the SM as foll.:
Repetition round: k17 (18-19), 1 SM, k2, 1 SM, k8 (10-12), 1 SM, k2, 1 SM, k34 (36-38), 1 SM, k2, 1 SM, k8 (10-12), 1 SM, k2, 1 SM, k17 (18-19).
Continue with short needles technique:
1st r.: knit until 2 sts. from 1st SM, turn.

DIVIDE THE STITCHES FOR SLEEVE SHAPING
Size S: k34 with pink col., remove the SM, k1, leave next 58 sts. onto a stitch wire (place the caps at the ends) for first sleeve, with camel col. cast-on 2 sts. for undersleeve, place the SMb in the center of these 2 sts. then, always with camel col., knit 1 68 1, remove the SM, leave next 58 sts. onto a stitch wire for second sleeve, cast-on 2 sts. for undersleeve, place 1 SM in the middle of these 2 sts. to mark the side, k1, remove the SM, knit until SMb.
Size M: k38 with pink col., remove the SM, k1, leave next 68 sts. onto a stitch wire for first sleeve, with camel col. cast-on 2 sts. for the undersleeve, place the SMb in the middle of these 2 sts. then, always with camel col., knit 1 76 1, remove the SM, leave 68 sts. onto a stitch wire for second sleeve, cast-on 2 sts. for the undersleeve, place 1 SM in the middle of these 2 sts. to mark the side, k1, remove the SM, knit until SMb.

From round 1 to round 26 (28-30): using camel col., knit until SMb.

Lower band
Rib 2/2, using size 6 mm needle and brown col.

SLEEVES
Using size 8 mm points and 40 cm cable, pick-up 56 (68-78) sts. you have left and 2 sts. you have cast-on for undersleeve, place 1 SMb in the middle of these 2 sts. and work in stocking st. in round.
From 1st to 26th round: with camel col., knit until SMb.
From 27th to 30th round: with orange col., knit until SMb.
From 31st to 34th round: with brown col., knit until SMb.
From 35th to 38th round: with pink col., knit until SMb.
From 39th to 42nd round: with camel col., knit until SMb.
Rep. the sequence from 27th to 42nd round 3 times more, until round 86. At the same time, on both sides of SMb, decr. 1 st. every 8 (6-5 rounds), until there are 44 (44-48) sts.
Band (cuff)
Using size 6 mm needles, work rib 2/2 as foll.:
Round 0: using orange col., knit until SMb.
From round 1 to round 10 (12-14): using orange col. work (k2, p2) until SMb.
From round 11 to round 19 (21-23): using brown col. work (k2, p2) until SMb.
Across next round work in tubular st. as foll.:
Round 20 (22-24): * k1, hang next st. in front, p1, knit the st. you have hung, p1 *, rep. from * to * until the end of round.
Round 21 (23-25): (k1, slip 1 p-wise) rep. until the end of round.
Round 22 (24-26): (slip 1 k-wise, p1) rep. until the end of round.
Bind off all sts. in graft st. using the darning needle.

Hide the ends. Wet and block. Wear!

FINISHING
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail. Thread the darning needle and pass it through rem. 42 sts., unthread the circular needles, pull yarn and tighten, then fix the sts. and hide the ends.
