Circular needles: size 6- and 7-mm tips with 100- and 60-cm cable (for the sleeves)
Other = tapestry needle, stitch marker, scissors, tape measure, waste yarn (to leave the stitches).
TENSION
10 x 10 cm = 9 sts and 14 r in stockinette st using size 7 mm needles.
STITCHES USED
Rib 1x1 in round
Round 1 and next rounds (RS): (k1, p1) rep until the end of the round.
Stockinette stitch in round: knit all rounds.
Jacquard knitting: at each color change, to avoid holes, move the unused yarn on WS and cross it with the working yarn.

Procedure
PATTERN
YOKE
Using the CP, circular needles with size 6 mm tips and 100 cm cable, cast-on 42 (44; 46; 48) sts, place 1 SM and close in round, taking care not to twist the stitches
From round 1 to 12: rib 1x1 in round.
Using size 7 mm tips, continue in stockinette st in round.
Round 1: continue with CP in knit stitch.
Round 2 (with increases): knit, increasing 23 (26; 29; 32) sts (M1) uniformly. [65 (70; 75; 80) sts]
Round 3: knit.
From round 4 to 10: jacquard stockinette st following the diagram A, repeating the horizontal module consisting of 5 sts 13 (14; 15; 16) times and alternating C2 and C1 like specified.
Continue with CP.
Round 11: knit.
Round 12 (with increases): knit, increasing 31 (32; 33; 40) sts (M1) uniformly. [96 (102; 108; 120) sts]
Round 13: knit.
From 14 to 22 round: jacquard stockinette st following the diagram B, repeating the horizontal module consisting of 6 sts 16 (17; 18; 20) times and alternating CP, C3 and C1, like specified.
Continue with CP.
Round 23: knit.
Round 24 (with increases): knit, increasing 32 (34; 36; 40) sts (M1) uniformly. [128 (136; 144; 160) sts
Round 25 and 26: knit.
Round from 27 to 40: jacquard stockinette st following the diagram C, repeating the horizontal module consisting of 8 sts 16 (17; 18; 20)
times and alternating CP, C1, C3 and C2, like specified.
Continue with CP, working 1 (1; 3; 5) rounds in knit st.
Across the next round (for all sizes), leave the sts for the sleeves and work as follow: on the waste yarn, leave the first 24 (26; 27; 30) sts for the first sleeve, cast-on 3 (4; 6; 6) sts for the undersleeve, knit 40 (42; 45; 50) sts for the front, on the waste yarn leave next 24 (26; 27; 30) sts for the second sleeve, cast-on 3 (4; 6; 6) sts for the undersleeve, knit (42; 45; 50) sts for the back.
Shape the body, working the 86 (92; 102; 112) sts on needles.
BODY
Using CP, work in stockinette st reaching 32 (33; 34; 35) cm from undersleeve.
Lower band of the sweater: using size 6 mm tips work 10 rounds rib 1x1.
Bind off all sts as they appear
SLEEVES (x 2)
Move the 24 (26; 27;30) sts (you have left on the waste yarn) on the circular needles with size 7 mm tips and 60 cm cable; at the same time,
pick-up and knit 3 (4; 6; 6;) sts of the undersleeve placing 1 SM in the middle of these sts.
Using the CP, work 27 (30; 33; 36) sts in stockinette st in round.
At 34 (35; 36; 37) cm from the undersleeve, work 7 rounds in jacquard stockinette st following the diagram D and repeating the horizontal module (consisting of 3 sts) 9 (10; 11; 12) times and alternating the C2, C1 and C3 like specified.
Using size 6 mm tips and beige yarn, shape the cuff working 10 rounds rib 1x1; at last bind off all sts.
Work the second sleeve as given for the first one.
FINISHING
Weave in the ends. Block to size using blocking needles and pins.
INSTRUCTIONS
Work the garment top down in round shaping a circular yoke.
For Jacquard knitting follow the diagrams A–B–C–D: each square in the diagram represents 1 stitch. Read the diagrams from bottom to top
and from right to left.
Across the working in round, place 1 SM at beginning of the first round, and move it before starting each next round.
