NOTES

This giant neck is worked in the round with circular needles, has different processes that allow you to learn some stitches and some techniques such as peanuts, giant bubbles and a simple inlay of a different color, following the instructions well you can use this work as a gym .

POINTS USED

Stockinette stitch, garter stitch, rice grain, bubbles, peanuts, Intarsia
Garter stitch in the round: knit one round and purl one round
Stockinette stitch, all round in straight stitch, simple holes, bubbles, nuts, simple inlay of different colors.

INSTRUCTIONS

With the brown 140 stitches 1, close in the round putting the first st. of the right needle into the left one and knit the first 2 stitches together, pull the threads well so you will not see the step.
Put marker MPCD works at m. garter 6 rounds.
Now starting from the MPCD work 30 dir, put Mp, 1 get, 1 m. acc, for 10 times, put MP, 30 dir, put Mp, 1 get, 1 m. acc, eg 10 times, put MP, 40 dir.
Round 1 From MPCD work everything straight, when you get to the MP, take it off, work 2 dir, put it back, on the next do the same thing, and also when you meet the other 2 MPs.
Round 2 From MPCD works up to MP then, 1 get, 1 m. acc, for 10 times, MP, all dir, up Mp, 1 get, 1 m. acc, eg 10 times, MP, all to say. up to MPCD
Now until the ball runs out repeat Round 1 and Round 2.
Change beige color: set aside 2 slacks of yarn about 180 cm long (for the inlay), now work in rice grain until the ball is used up.
Pink color change: set aside 2 loose ends about 180 cm long,
Stockinette stitch 4 rounds
Now from MPCD 10dir, * 10 dir, turn and work in return row only on these 10 stitches for 5 rows in st. shaved, now bring the work closer to the other sts. continue on another 10 m. normal to straight *, and repeat the operation, from * to *
In this way bubbles are created which will remain detached, forming a hole between the 10 and the next meshes. Now make 4 rounds in st. shaved, then make the bubbles again so that they stay staggered.
Stockinette stitch 4 rounds
Gray color change: m. 4 rounds stockinette, now starting from MPCD 10 dir, knit the peanut like this: in a stitch make 4 stitches: knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 1,
turn work 4 straight, turn 4 purl, turn 4 straight,
turn the work and close 3 sts: slip 1 stitch without working, knit 3 stitches together. pass the shirt you passed without knitting.
It forms a nice big peanut, go on and work by pulling the thread well so as not to leave a hole
Make these peanuts 5 times, leaving 10 m between one and the other. repeat them staggering them after 3 laps.
Then they are made in the center between one and the other of the 10 stitches.
How many do you want, I've done less every time. Work the gray until the skein in m. shaved.
Black color change: 4 turns at m. shaved, at this point we can make the squares of another color with the inlay technique.
The thread should not be carried behind for all the work, but only for the area that interests us, then they must be cut and hidden on the back.
* take the beige thread (about 180 cm), fold it in half, bring half of the thread to the front with the other half wrap the work thread, the black one, so that it stops slightly.
Now work 4 beige stitches, leave the black thread very soft and work 4 sts. black, 3 times.

Continue with black for 50m. and do the same with pink.
When you have finished the round, and you find yourself again making the beige checks, pick up the long thread you left in front, pass it around the thread of the black work, and do as before: 4 pink, 4 black etc .. *
The round above repeat the operation from * to *
After the squares finish the black ball with 6 rounds in garter, or work until I would have finished the yarn, close very very softly.
