Body width 53 cm, length 55 cm, sleeves length 41 cm width 30 cm.
Procedure
Work the different pieces of the sweater separately, then join them. Pick-up the stitches around the neckline and work the 1x1 rib band.
Work the pattern follows:
Row 1: begin by working the first stitch with both yarns, follow the diagram for the color changes, and end working the last stitch with both yarns.
Rows 2-9: begin only with Dolly 125 and end working with both yarns. After working the pied-de-poule sequence, cut the yarn (WS) and work 4 rows in stockinette stitch.
Rows 10-14: work only with Dolly 125.
Always work loosely.
Back: using 3.75 mm needles, cast on 118 stitches and work 10 rows in 1x1 rib. Switch to 4 mm needles and work 4 rows in stockinette stitch, decreasing 1 stitch across the first row (117 stitches). Repeat the diagram 8 times and work the last repetition across row 12. Hold the stitches onto a waste yarn.
Front: using size 3.75 mm needles cast on 118 stitches and work 10 rows in 1x1 rib. Switch to 4 mm needles and work in stockinette stitch, decreasing 1 stitch across the first row. After working 4 rows in stockinette stitch, repeat the diagram sequence 5 times. While executing the sixth repetition on
-Row 13: work the neckline decreases as follows: k40, bind off 37 stitches, k40. Hold the left shoulder stitches onto a waste yarn. Work the right shoulder:
-Row 14: purl
-Rows 1, 3, 5: at the beginning of the row on right side, work one decrease and follow the diagram. 8 repetitions; last repetition across row 12.
Left shoulder: rows 14, 1, 3 at the beginning of the row, work one decrease and follow the diagram.
Return the back stitches onto a needle, and the shoulder stitches onto another needle, then work the 3-needle bind-off sewing.
Joining front and back: put two needles beside (RS against RS) and work on WS; sew 37 stitches of the first shoulder, bind off 43 stitches of the back and sew the last 37 stitches of the second shoulder. Using size 3.75 mm needles, pick up 22 stitches along the left side of the neckline, 37 stitches along the front, 22 stitches along the side, and 43 stitches along the back, then work 8 rows in 1x1 rib. Bind off stitches as they appear.
Sleeves: using size 3.75 mm needles, cast on 62 stitches and work 10 rows in 1x1 rib. Then using size 4 mm needles work 4 rows in stockinette stitch with one decrease across the first row. Work 6 diagram repetitions and bind off stitches loosely. Repeat for the second sleeve.
Sew the sleeves to the body, making sure to align the top center of the sleeve with the shoulder seam, then sew the sleeves and the sides of the body.
Diagram sequence: multiple of 14 5 stitches.
