This project is worked back and forth in two pieces (front and back) sewn together. The edges (cuffs and neck) are worked at the end picking up stitches.

Continue working in stocking st increasing as follows:

Increase 1 st every 2 rows on RS:

Repeat Rows 1 and 2 another 23 times (68 sts)

Increase 1 st every 4 rows on RS:

Row 1 (RS): K1, m1, K to the end.

Row 2 (WS): P

Row 3 (RS): K

Row 4 (WS): P

Repeat from Row 1 to Row 4 another 17 times (86 sts)

Increase 1 st every 2 rows on RS:

Row 1 (RS): K1, m1, K to the end.

Shape neckline as follows:

Row 1 (RS): cast off 1 st, K to the end.

Bottom edge (longer side of the work):

With needles 4 mm pick up 190 stitches along the longer side (the side without increases/decreases) and work 12 rows in 1/1 rib st.

BACK

Work as for the Front.

FINISHING

Seams

Sew the Front and Back together along the oblique sides, leaving open the central cm of the neckline and the and the 44 starting and ending stitches for the cuffs.

Cuffs (X2)

With circular needles 3,5 mm pick up 88 sts and work in the round 48 rounds (about 14 cm) in 1/1 rib st.

Neck

With circular needles 3,5 mm pick up 134 sts along the neckline and work in the round 98 rounds (about 30 cm) in 1/1 rib st.

Weave in all ends. Wash and block garment carefully.
