Poncho a righe
This project is worked back and forth. A simple knitting that brings out the nuances and softness of a unique yarn.
Stocking stitch;
1/1 rib st.: *K1, P1 * rep ** to the end; next row : work sts as they appear.

Procedure
BACK
With color grey and needles 8 mm cast on 100 (98 2 SES) sts and work in 1/1 rib stfor 3 cm (7 rows).
Switch to color black and work 10 rows (6cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color turtledove and work 18 rows (12cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color black and work 10 rows (6cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color cream and work 28 rows (18cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color black and work 5 rows (3cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color turtledove and work 5 rows (3cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color black and work 13 rows (9cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
WS Rows: work stitches as they appear.
Repeat from *to * to Row 98.
Cast off all stitches.
FRONT
With color grey and needles 8 mm cast on 100 (98 2 SES) sts and work in 1/1 rib stfor 3 cm (7 rows).
Switch to color black and work 10 rows (6cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color turtledove and work 18 rows (12cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color black and work 10 rows (6cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color cream and work 28 rows (18cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
At the same time on Row 15 divide the piece into two parts using two balls of yarn and start to form the neckline.
On next 22 cm changing the color of the yarn as indicated in the explanation below continue to work the two parts separately.
Switch to color black and work 5 rows (3cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color turtledove and work 5 rows (3cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
Switch to color black and work 13 rows (9cm) in stocking st. as follows: 1 SES, 98 sts, 1 SES.
At 58 cm from the beginning cast off 12 sts both sides for the neckline.
Then decrease 1 st each side on RS rows.
At 60 cm cast off all stitches.
WS Rows: work stitches as they appear.
Repeat from *to * to Row 98.
Cast off all stitches.
HOOD
With needles 8 mm and color grey cast on 90 sts and work in 1/1 rib st for 8 cm.
Then work 18 rows in stocking st with black yarn; 2 rows in color cream; 12 rows in color turtledove.
(26 cm in total)
Cast off all stitches.
Fold the 1/1 rib edge in half and sew to create the loop for the cord that will be used to close the hood.
Then fold the long side in half facing RS and sew in machine stitch with the tapestry needle.
CORD
Make a cord long 1.20 m.
FINISHING
Sew the shoulders and the 9 lateral cm at he base of the poncho.
Sew the hood and and insert the cord through the loop.
