INSTRUCTIONS
Using size 7 mm circular needles, cast-on 52 sts. and close in round, then pSM in 1st st. of the round. Work 16 r. rib 2/2 (= 14 cm).
Using size 8 mm circular needles, work 14 r. more in stockings st.
For crown shaping, from next r., decrease as follow.
15th round: (k2tog, k3, k2tog, k19) x twice. [48 sts.]
16th round: knit.
17th round: (k2tog, k3, k2tog, k17) x twice. [44 sts.]
18th round: knit.
19th round: (k2tog, k3, k2tog, k15) x twice. [40 sts.]
20th round: knit.
21st round: (k2tog, k3, k2tog, k13) x twice. [36 sts.]
22nd round: knit. Cut the yarn leaving a long tail.
Thread the darning needle and pass it through the remaining 36 sts. and, at the same time, unthread the circular needles, then pull the yarn tightening the sts. Fix with a couple of stitches and hide the ends inside the fabric. Cut the yarn.
Fold the cuff on RS.
