INTERCHANGEABLE CIRCULAR NEEDLES: size 6-, 7-, 9-, 10- mm points, 60 cm and 80 cm cables.
OTHERS = stitch marker with big circumference, stitch marker, darning needle, scissors, tape measure
Use 3 ends of Armé yarn as one (triple yarn).
Work the garment in false fisherman’s stitch in round bottom-up until reaching the armholes. Divide in 2 parts and cont. separately up to the shoulders, which you will join using the darning needle. Work the sleeves in round, then sew them around the armholes.

Procedure
FRONT AND BACK UNTIL THE ARMHOLES
Using Alpaca Brushed yarn, circular needles with 6 mm points and 80 cm cable, cast-on 96 sts., place 1 SM and close in round, making sure the stitches are facing the same direction.
Collar
1st 2nd and 3rd round: cast-on with no waste yarn and work in tubular st.
4th round: rib 1/1.
Using size 7 mm points cont. in false fisherman’s stitch in round, alternating 2 yarns as foll.:
From 5th to 7th round: use triple Armé yarn.
Use size 9 mm points.
From 8th to 10th round: use Alpaca Brushed yarn.
Use size 10 mm points.
From 11th to 23rd round: cont. with Alpaca Brushed yarn.
From 24th to 26th round: with triple Armé yarn.
From 27th to 44th round: cont. with Alpaca Brushed yarn.
From 45th to 47th round: with triple Armé yarn.
From 48th to 61st round: cont. with Alpaca Brushed yarn.
Divide the panel and cont. working front and back separately.
TOP BACK
Cont. in false fisherman’s stitch in back-and-forth rows.
62nd r.: for first armhole shaping, bind off first st., next 47 sts. in false fisherman’s stitch, leave 48 sts., turn.
63rd r.: for second armhole shaping, bind off first st., next 46 sts. in false fisherman’s stitch, turn.
64th and 65th r.: work rem. 46 sts. using Alpaca Brushed yarn.
From 66th to 68th r.: with triple Armé yarn.
From 69th to 87th r.: cont. with Alpaca Brushed yarn.
Bind off all sts.
TOP FRONT
Pick-up 48 sts. you have left at the end of 61st round and work as given for back until 77th r.
78th r.: in false fisherman’s stitch as set out and bind off 12 central sts. for neckline, then cont. working 2 pieces separately, binding off 1 st. every 2 r. 5 times (= 10 r.) on each edge of the neckline. At last, bind off rem. 12 sts. of both shoulders.
SLEEVES
Using 6 mm points, 60 cm cable and Alpaca Brushed yarn, cast-on 36 sts., place 1 SMb and close in round, making sure the stitches are facing the same direction.
1st 2nd and 3rd round: cast-on with no waste yarn and work in tubular st.
4th round: rib 1/1.
Using size 7 mm points, cont. in false fisherman’s stitch in round, alternating 2 yarns as foll.:
From 5th to 7th round: with triple Armé yarn.
Use 9 mm points.
From 8th to 10th round: with Alpaca Brushed yarn.
Use 10 mm points.
From 11th to 23rd round: cont. with Alpaca Brushed.
From 24th to 26th round: with triple Armé yarn.
From 27th to 44th round: cont. with Alpaca Brushed.
From 45th to 47th round: with triple Armé yarn.
From 48th to 61st round: cont. with Alpaca Brushed.
From 66th to 68th round: with triple Armé yarn.
From 69th to 72nd round: cont. with Alpaca Brushed yarn, binding off 1 st. on each edge, across 70th and 71st round.
At last, bind off all sts.
FINISHING
On WS, sew the shoulders, then the top edge of the sleeves around the armholes.
COLLAR
Using size 10 mm points, 60 cm cable and Alpaca Brushed yarn, pick-up 46 sts. around the neckline, place 1 SMb and close in round, making sure the stitches are facing the same direction.
1st round: rib 1/1.
Cont. in false fisherman’s stitch in round, using following points:
2nd round:9 mm points.
3rd round: 7 mm points.
From 4th to 22nd round: 6 mm points.
23rd round: points n. 7.
24th round: 9 mm points.
25th round: 10 mm points.
Bind off the sts., fold the collar in half and sew the sts. of the last round around the base of the first round loosely.
Hide the ends. Wet and block. Wear!
