BABY SOFT BELT
SKILL LEVEL: Easy
This pattern may be scarf or belt.
Using two yarns (Cotone Baby Soft and ArmਠLurex) together, work the scarf-belt. Beginning from point, work in back-and-forth rows (making the increases).
Knit stitch.
Slipped st. p-wise: insert right knitting needle in next st. on left knitting needle from back (as in purl st.), then pass it from left to right knitting needle. When indicated, slip 3 sts. p-wise, same procedure, i.e. slip 3 sts. from left to right knitting needle, with yarn in front of work.
Incr. (3 sts. into 1 st.): work one st. 3 times: knit, knit from back loop and knit again, at last drop the st. from left knitting needle.
Binding off: slip 1st st. k-wise, knit next st., pass slipped st. over knitted st., (knit next st., pass 1st st. over 2nd st. of right knitting needle) rep. like stated.

Procedure
Using size 8 mm knitting needles and double yarn, cast-on 6 sts.
NB: to make it easier, from 1st r. we write only “yarn” (not double yarn), but you always have to use double yarn.
1st r.: k3, move yarn in front of work and slip 3 sts. p-wise.
From 2nd to 7th r.: rep. 1st r.
8th r. (2 incr.): k2, 1 incr. in next st., move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [8 sts.]
From 9th to 12th r.: k5, move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise
13th r. (2 incr.): k4, 1 incr. in next st., move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [10 sts.]
From 14th to 17th r.: k7, move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise
18th r. (2 incr.): k6, 1 incr. in next st., move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [12 sts.]
From 19th to 22nd r.: k9, move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [12 sts.]
23rd r. (2 incr.): k8, 1 incr. in next st., move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [14 sts.]
From 24th to 27th r.: k11, move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [14 sts.]
28th r. (2 incr.): k10, 1 incr. in next st., move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [16 sts.]
From 29th to 32nd r.: k13, move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [16 sts.]
33rd r. (2 incr..): k12, 1 incr. in next st., move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [18 sts.]
34th r.: k15, move yarn in front of work and slip last 3 sts. p-wise [18 sts.]
Cont. rep. the 34th r., reaching 60 cm or until you have reached your desired length, then bind off all sts.
Cut and tie off the yarn, then using the darning needle, hide the ends on WS.
