Yarn: POEMA MOHAIR by Laines du Nord: 2 balls, col. 8
Knitting needles: size 3.5 mm (or 4 mm depending on your tension)
Others: darning needle, stitch marker, scissors, tape measure.
TENSION
10 x 10 cm = 22 stitches and 30 rows, in stockinette stitch using size 4 mm knitting needles
It is very important to check your gauge and measure the tension correctly to achieve the same results and measurements as the pattern.
If the gauge is different, try adjusting the needle size up or down by half a size until you get the correct measurement.
STITCHES USED
Stockinette stitch:
R 1 (RS): knit.
R 2 (WS): purl.
Always rep R 1 and 2.
2x1 rib:
R 1 (RS): (k2, p1) rep until the end of the row.
R 2 and next rows: work all stitches as they appear.

INSTRUCTIONS
Cast-on 170 sts.
2x1 rib.
R 1 (RS): (k2, p1) rep until the end of the r and at last k2.
R 2 to 4: work the sts as they appear.
Continue in stockinette st, working the first 9 sts 2x1 rib for the 1st side band and the last 9 sts 2x1 rib for 2nd side band.
R 1: (k2, p1) 3 times, knit until 9 sts from the end, (p1, k2) 3 times.
R 2: work the sts as they appear.
Rep r 1 and 2, running out the 2 balls and working last 4 r 2x1 rib.
At last bind off all sts.
FINISHING
Weave in all ends. Block to size with needles and blocking pins.
