BRIOCHE PATTERNED SWEATER

MATERIAL

YARN = 10 (12-14) balls x 25 grams (120 mt) of col. n. 3002 CASHSILK LIGHT by LAINES DU NORD.
CIRCULAR NEEDLES = with size 6 mm points and 60 cm and 100 cm cables.
OTHERS = darning needle with silicon eye, stitch marker, pins, scissors, tape measure.

SAMPLE

10 x 10 cm = 10 sts. and 30 r. in brioche st. using double yarn and size 6 mm needles. If required, you can use different size of needle.

Make one (RS): patt yarn between right and left needle. Using right needle lift the yarn, pick-up it with left needle twisting the st. on left needle.

Invisible closing in round: slip 1st st. of left needle on right needle. Pass 2nd st. of right needle on 1st st. and drop it. Pull both 2 yarns (yarn of ball and end of cast-on yarn) together decisively; it tightens the dropped stitch shaping one knot. You have made the invisible closing and fixed the ring. At last, move the 1st st. of right point on left needle, place the M on right point.

SLEEVES

Using size 6 mm circular needles and double yarn,knit 48 (50, 52) sts. around armhole edge, then close in ring, place 1 SM to mark the beg. of round and work in round.

Cont. in brioche st. until the sleeve measures 35 (35-36) cm from undersleeve.

Round with decrease: knit distributing 24 (24-24) decreases (= k2tog) uniformly. [24 (26-28) sts.]

Complete the sleeve working the rib 1/1 band.

Bind off the sts. as they appear.

COLLAR
