INSTRUCTIONS

Collar

Using no. 3 circular needles and 60 cm cable, cast-on 116 sts. and, for collar shaping, close in circle and work 20 r. rib 1/1. Then, using the crochet-hook, pick-up the cast-on sts. and slip them onto no. 4 circular needles with 80 cm cable, * put one needle next to the other one (1st r. with the sts. for collar and 2nd r. with the picked up sts.) and, using point no. 4, * work k2tog, picking up 1 st. from each needle *, rep. from * to * until you have joined the long edges of the collar.

Yoke

Using pink yarn, work as foll.: 34 sts. for front, 1 st. for raglan line (PM in this st.), 22 sts. for first sleeve, 1 st. for raglan line (PM in this st.), 34 sts. for back, 1 st. for raglan line (PM in this st.), 22 sts. for second sleeve, 1 st. for raglan line (PM in this st.).

1st round and odd rounds: yo before and after every st. (where you have placed M) that shape the raglan line, (move M in the st. between 2 yo), knit the remaining sts. [8 yo = 8 increased sts.]

2nd round and even rounds: knit all sts. and the yo in k-tbl. Cont. rep. 1st and 2nd round until you have worked the 47th round. Across the knitting, alternate the col. as foll.: from 1st to 6th r. pink; from 7th to 13rd r. ivory; from 14th to 20th r. lime green, from 35th to 41st r. ivory; from 42nd to 47th r. light green.

Body
