KNITTING NEDLES = size 15 mm
OTHERS = darning needle with silicon eye, stitch marker, pins, scissors, tape measure.
The beginning and end part of scarf is wider than central part.
Decrease to left: skp (slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over)
Decrease to the right: k2tog.
Garter stitch: knit every st. and every r.
RS = right side of work
WS = wrong side of work

Procedure
Beginning part
Cast-on 30 sts.
1st r. (RS): knit.
2nd r. (WS): knit.
3rd r. (RS): skp on first 2 sts., knit until last 2 sts., k2tog on last 2 sts. [28 sts.]
4th r. (WS): knit.
From 5th to 20th r.: always rep. from 1st to 4th r. [20 sts. to the end of 20th r.
Central part
Cont. in garter st. reaching 1 mt in length approx.
End part
For flaring (specular to beginning part), on both edges, increase as follow.
1st r. (RS): k1, 1 incr. to right, knit until 1 st. before the end, one incr. to the left and knit last st. [22 sts.]
2nd r. (WS): knit.
3rd r. (RS): knit.
4th r. (WS): knit.
From 5th to 20th r.: rep. from 1st to 4th r. [30 sts. to the end of 20th r.]
Bind off all sts.
Hide the ends inside the fabric.
