FINISHING

Before sewing the parts together, it is important to secure the loose ends of the yarn. Wet and block.

Sew all seams on RS with the darning needle.

Sew the shoulders by joining the 21 sts. of the 2 fronts to the corresponding ones of the back.

Pin the top edge of a sleeve along the edge of the 2 joined panels (front/back), placing the center of the sleeve at the shoulder seam and each half of the sts. at either side of the seam. Then, using a darning needle, sew the edges together in place. Repeat the same process to join the second sleeve on the opposite side of the front/back.

Sew side and undersleeve seams.

Pin the band along the opening edge of the right front, neckline, and left front, making sure to place the buttonholes section on the right front. Finally, sew the band in place. Sew the buttons on the left front band near the buttonhole.

On RS, sew the 2 side edges and the bottom edge of each pocket to each front, placing them 8 cm from the bottom edge and aligning one side with the side seam. Secure the yarn loose ends.
