Size S/M: 300 g, col 1
Yarn: DOLLY MAXI by Laines du Nord
Size S/M: 2 balls (50 g each), col 201
Circular needles: 5 mm, 6 mm and 7 mm tips with 80 cm and 120 cm cables
Others: large-eye darning needle, pins, stitch markers, scissors, measuring tape, stitch holders with stoppers, 2 sets of toggle closures for coats.
TENSION
10 x 10 cm = 10 stitches and 12 rows in stockinette stitch, worked holding Teddy B and Plume tog, using 7 mm needles.
It is very important to check your gauge and measure the tension correctly to achieve the same results and measurements as the pattern.
If the gauge is different, try adjusting the needle size up or down by half a size until you get the correct measurement.
STITCHES USED
Raised Rib Pattern: worked over a multiple of 4 sts.
1st row and odd rows: K3, slip 1 purlwise with yarn in front repeat ** to the last stitch of the row, end with K1.
2nd row and even rows: K3, slip 1 purlwise with yarn in front repeat ** to the last stitch of the row, end with K1.
Stockinette Stitch:
R 1 (RS): knit all sts.
R 2 (WS): purl all sts.
Rep r 1 and 2 throughout.
Three-Needle Bind-Off: place half of the hood sts on one needle and the other half on a second needle. Hold the needles parallel and using a
third needle, bind off by knitting tog one st from each needle.

DETAILED PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
BODY FROM HEM TO ARMHOLES
With Dolly Maxi, using 6 mm needle tips and the 120 cm cable, cast on 122 sts. Work 20 r in raised rib pattern. After completing the hem,
switch to held-tog strands of Teddy B Plume and continue in stockinette stitch, decreasing 2 sts evenly across the first r to end up with 120
sts. After 2 cm, switch to 7 mm needle tips and continue in stockinette for another 23 cm.
At 25 cm from the cast-on edge, divide the work using SM as follows: 18 sts, place a SM, 84 sts, place a SM, 18 sts. Work each of the 3
sections separately, leaving openings for the pocket inserts. Use 3 balls of double strand, 1 for each section, and work 25 r in stockinette stitch.
At the end, return all sts to a single needle and continue working in stockinette stitch for another 27 cm (72 cm total from the cast-on edge to
the underarm).
Across the last r on the WS, divide the sts again as follows: p30 for the first front, 60 sts for the back and 30 sts for the second front. Continue
working each section separately from here.

R 33.: k8, bind off 8 center sts, k8.
R 34: purl 8 sts separately for each shoulder.
Bind off the remaining 8 sts for each shoulder.
On WS, using a darning needle, seam the 8 sts of each front and back shoulder edge tog.
HOOD
On RS, pick up 46 sts evenly around the neckline: 16 sts along the right front neck, 14 sts across the back neck, and 16 sts along the left fron
neck. Work 5 r in stockinette stitch. On r 6, work 8 sts, then M1 every 2 sts and end working 8 sts. Continue in stockinette stitch until the hood
measures 35 cm from the picked-up edge. Close the upper part of the hood using a 3-needle bind-off.
POCKETS (make 2)
Right pocket flap: using 7 mm needles and held-tog yarn (Teddy B Plume), pick up 16 sts along the outer left edge of the pocket opening.
Switch to 5 mm needle tips and Dolly Maxi yarn and work as follows:
R 1: (k3, M1) rep to end of r.
R 2.: (k3, p1) rep to end of r, ending with k3.
R 3: k1, p1, (k3, p1) rep to last 2 sts, ending with p1 and k1.
Rep r 2 and 3 until pocket measures 3 cm. Bind off all sts loosely.
Pocket lining: using 7 mm needle tips and held-tog yarn(Teddy B Plume), pick up 16 sts along the inner left edge of the pocket opening and
work in stockinette stitch for 16 cm. At the end, bind off all sts. Using a darning needle, sew side edges and pocket bottom to the inside (WS)
with small invisible stitches, making sure they stay invisible on the RS. With Dolly Maxi yarn, sew the short sides of the pocket flap in place
using small invisible stitches. Make the second pocket in the same way on the opposite side.
SLEEVES
Using Dolly Maxi and 5 mm needle tips with an 80 cm cable, cast on 25 sts on the needle and work 20 r in raised rib pattern:
R 1 and all odd r: k1, p1, * k3, p1*, rep from * to * until end of row.
R 2 and all even r: p2, k1, * k3, p1 *, rep ** to last 4 sts, p1 and k3 across the last 4 sts.
After completing the cuff, switch to double strand of Teddy B Plume and begin working in stockinette stitch, increasing 6 sts evenly across
the first r to end up with 31 sts. Then increase 4 sts evenly across the second r to end up with 35 sts. Continue in stockinette stitch over the
same st count until sleeve measures 40 cm from the cast-on edge. Next, begin raglan shaping over the next 32 r as follows: on r 1 (RS)
decrease 1 st at each side, then 1 st every other r (RS), 9 times. Then, decrease at both sides 2 sts every 4 r, 3 times. At r 32, 3 sts remain on
the needle. Bind off the 3 remaining sts loosely. Work the second sleeve as given for the first one.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Using pins, align the upper edges of the sleeves (from the beginning of the raglan shaping to the final r) along the armholes, placing the center
st of the sleeve at the shoulder seam. Seam the sleeves into the armholes and then sew each underarm seam down to the end of the cuff.
Repeat for the second sleeve. Weave in all ends. Referring to the photos, sew the 2 sets of toggle closures onto the front panels.
INSTRUCTIONS
This garment is worked bottom-up using circular needles worked flat (back and forth). The section from the lower hem up to the armholes is
knit as one piece, including the right front, back, and left front. The work is then divided to complete each of the three sections separately. The
instructions below are written for size S/M. Apart from the bands, which are worked using Dolly Maxi, all other parts of the garment are worked holding one strand each of Teddy B and Plume tog as a single yarn throughout.
