Other = stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, tape measure.
Work the bag from bottom to top.
Work the main part of the bag in a continuous spiral of sc, without closing each round with a sl st. To make it easier, place a SM in the 1st st of each round, moving it up as you go.
Chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet.

Procedure
Using textured yarn, shape a magic ring.
Round 1: 1 ch (doesn’t count a a st), 6 sc in the ring; pull the yarn end to tighten the ring; do not close the round with a sl st and continue working in a spiral. [6 sc]
Round 2: 2 sc in each st of the round. [12 sts]
Round 3: (1 sc, 2 sc in the next st) 6 times. [18 sts]
Round 4: 1 sc, 2 sc in the next st, (2 sc, 2 sc in the next st) 5 times, 1 sc. [24 sts]
Round 5: (3 sc, 2 sc in the next st) 6 times. [30 sts]
Round 6: 2 sc, 2 sc in the next st, (4 sc, 2 sc in the next st) 5 times, 2 sc. [36 sts]
Round 7: (5 sc, 2 sc in the next st) 6 times. [42 sts]
Round 8: 3 sc, 2 sc in the next st, (6 sc, 2 sc in the next st) 5 times, 3 sc. [48 sts]

Rounds 33 to 41: 150 sc in each round. At the end of round 41, close with 1 sl st in the next st.
Divide the work and continue in back-and-forth rows over the first 75 sts.
Row 42: 1 ch (doesn’t count as a st in this and the following rows) 75 sc; leave the remaining sts unworked.
Row 43: 1 ch, 2 sc tog., 71 sc, 2 sc tog., turn. [73 sc]
Row 44: 1 ch,73 sc, turn.
Row 45: 1 ch,2 sc tog., 69 sc, 2 sc tog., turn. [71 sc]
Row 46: 1 ch,71 sc, turn.
Row 47: 1 ch, 2 sc tog., 67 sc, 2 sc tog., turn. [69 sc]

Divide the work again and work the 2 points (or triangular motifs) separately for the upper part.
First point
Row 51: 1 ch,2 sc tog., 17 sc, turn, leaving the remaining sts unworked. [18 sts]
Row 52: 1 ch, skip the 1st base st, 1 sl st in the next st, 16 sc, turn. [17 sts]
Row 53: 1 ch, 2 sc tog., 12 sc, 1 sl st, turn. [14 sts]
Row 54: 1 ch, 1 sl st in the next sc, 12 sc, turn. [13 sts]
Row 55: 1 ch, 2 sc tog., 9 sc, 1 sl st, turn. [11 sts]
Row 56: 1 ch, 1 sl st in the next sc, 9 sc, turn. [10 sts]
Row 57: 1 ch, 2 sc tog., 6 sc, 1 sl st, turn. [8 sts]
Row 58: 1 ch, 1 sl st in the next sc, 6 sc, turn. [7 sts]
Row 59: 1 ch, 2 sc tog., 3 sc, 1 sl st, turn. [5 sts]
Row 60: 1 ch, 1 sl st in the next sc, 2 sc, 1 hdc. [4 sts]
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Second point
Work on the unworked sts of row 51.
Row 51: skip 32 sts after the18th sc of the first point (18 sts remain) and in the next sc, join the textured yarn, 1 ch (doesn’t count as a st in this and the following rows), 1 sc in the same base st as the ch, 16 sc, 2 sc tog over the last 2 sts, turn. [18 sts]
Row 52: 1 ch, 16 sc, 1 sl st in the next st, turn, leaving the last st unworked. [17 sts]
Rows 53 to 60: work as rows 53 to 60 of the first point and decrease reversing all shaping.
On the opposite side of the bag, work the 75 remaining sts as in row 42.
FINISHING
The 2 triangular points with adjacent slanted sides form a “V” shape and correspond to the center front, while the other 2 points with the “V” correspond to the center back.
Front center “V” band: join Natural Bag col 19 to the inner upper part of the right point.
Row 1 (RS): 1 ch (does not count as a st in this and the following rows), working downward, 20 sc along the 1st slanted edge of the “V”, 3 sc tog, then working upward, 20 sc along the 2nd slanted edge of the “V”, turn.
Row 2 (WS): 1 ch, 19 sc, 3 sc tog., 19 sc, turn.
Row 3: 1 ch, 18 sc, 3 sc tog., 18 sc, cut the yarn and fasten off.
Back center “V” band: work as for the front center “V” band.
Complete the bag by finishing the sides edges and simultaneously creating the handles.
Side bands and handles: on the RS, join Natural Bag yarn col 19 at the end of row 3 of the “V” shaped band, on the left point of the front or back.
Round 1: 1 sc at the end of each of the 3 rows of the “V” shaped band, 62 sc evenly along the 1st side edge of the front and back, 3 sc at the end of the 3 rows of the opposite V shaped band (= 68 sc on one bag side), 50 ch for the 1st handle, 3 sc at the opposite ends of the 3 rows of the same V shaped band, 62 sc evenly along the 2nd side edge of the bag, 3 sc at the end of the 3 rows of the opposite V shaped band, 50 ch for the 2nd handle; finish the round with an invisible join.
Round 2: 68 sc, 1 sc in each of the 50 ch of the 1st handle, 68 sc, 1 sc in each of the 50 ch of the 2nd handle; close the round with an invisible join. [236 sc]
Round 3: (16 sc, 2 sc tog., 32 sc, 2 sc tog., 16 sc, 50 sc across the 50 sc of the handle) twice; close the round with an invisible join. [232 sc]
Round 4: (66 sl st, 50 sc) twice; finish the round with an invisible join, then cut the yarn and fasten off.
Weave in all ends.
